Our e-commerce business has grown exponentially over the last few years, and we have ambitious business development plans to drive further growth nationally and internationally. As such, we are now looking for an experienced, meticulous and forward-thinking Digital Trade & Analytics Manager to help drive e-commerce revenue and our online presence. Digital Trade & Analytics Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Trade Manager to oversee and optimise our digital trade operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive online sales growth, enhance digital marketing efforts, and improve our e-commerce performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce platforms. The Digital Trade Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and deliver a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Digital Trade Manager, you will spearhead our digital growth initiatives and be accountable for maximising sales across all digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
· Develop and implement robust digital trading strategies that drive revenue, using your expertise in digital planning and analytics.
· Take full ownership of digital sales performance, collaborating with various teams to ensure targets are achieved and surpassed.
· Oversee the complete trading process, from daily operations to strategic campaign execution and brand promotion, in partnership with marketing and other departments.
· Enhance on-site performance by optimising conversion rates, boosting customer engagement, and improving overall site KPIs.
· Analyse key business metrics and provide actionable insights on trade performance, creating strategic action plans to support sustained growth.
· Work with internal stakeholders to create and execute a comprehensive digital trading calendar, delivering timely and relevant promotions and content.
· Leverage data and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel) to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen our data and analytical tool stack.
· Ensure our website features engaging and relevant content, enhance the customer journey, and aligns all campaigns and promotions with business objectives.
· Conduct daily website checks to verify functionality, accuracy, and currency of product information.
· Manage the launch and onboarding of new products, ensuring a smooth transition from creation in Shopify to live on the site, whilst ensuring consistency across channels.
· Support SEO strategies with evergreen and seasonal content, aimed at increasing customer engagement and driving conversions.
· Conduct competitor analysis to identify new trends and opportunities.
Specifications:
Essential
· At least 2 years minimum of proven experience in a similar role.
· A strong understanding and experience of Klayvio, Shopify, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (Excel)
· A strong understanding of SEO optimisation and proven experience.
· Proof of right to work in the UK
· Minimum of 2 references
Desirable
· Understanding or experience of using various software apps is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Salary and Benefits:
· We are offering a full-time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We encourage a healthy work-life balance so hybrid remote working and flexible working hours will be considered.
· Up to £30k salary dependent on experience.
· 28 days holiday per annum including bank holidays.
