About the opportunity:
AXIOM is one of the DSA alliance partners and is an unincorporated Joint Venture (JV) made up of four major engineering contracting companies each with complementary capabilities and skills. The members have excellent nuclear pedigrees, demonstrated expertise and effective track records across the UK nuclear fleet and related nuclear industries.
The extensive capacity and capabilities of the AXIOM alliance provide the essential expertise that is crucial to achieving both the designs of the alliance and the wider goals of Sellafield Ltd and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).
We are looking for a Contract Engineer to join our team at Birchwood Park.
Some of your responsibilities:
1. Production of DSA Task Order (TO) Responses.
2. Production of TO Response supporting documents; Estimates, Organisation Charts and Risk Registers.
3. Production of DSA (AXIOM/SL) task cost estimates for reimbursable and TCIF contracts.
4. Ensuring the estimate satisfies the scope of work stated within the Task Order Request, Employee Instruction, PICD or Change Event.
5. NEC3 Contract Management using CEMAR.
6. Drafting Executive Summaries when required to support TRRA approval.
7. Tracking the performance of the TCIF Contracts.
8. Filing and management of estimates and associated documents.
9. Raising and responding to EWN’s when the need arises.
10. Interfacing with the SL; PM, SPEM, PEM, Planners, Cost Engineers, discipline RE’s and discipline engineers.
11. Preparation of and updating Purchase Orders for our supply chain.
12. Review and approval for payment of supply chain invoices.
Here's What You'll Need:
13. Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
14. Familiar with working under NEC3 contracts
15. Good working knowledge of CEMAR
16. Strong communication skills
