About Our Client
A well known client in the Guildford area.
Job Description
3. Hold ownership of the HR and Recruitment inbox, managing and responding to all emails providing responses in line with policies and procedures.
4. Escalate emails to other members of the HR team when necessary.
5. Post job adverts on all recruitment sites.
6. Remove job adverts once expired or fulfilled.
7. Forward applications to line managers.
8. Send reference requests via email and chase outstanding references weekly.
9. File returned references and notify line managers when individuals are ready to be interviewed.
10. Attend interviews to take notes and provide feedback from line managers to communicate back to candidates
11. Send new starter forms via email.
12. Issue DBS numbers for new starters via email.
13. Arrange for RTW (Right to Work) documents to be seen and countersigned.
14. Write and send contract documentation.
15. Add new starters to HRIS.
16. Send HMRC new starter forms to payroll.
17. Create first day plans and send first-day plan emails to new starters.
18. Write and send confirmation of resignation letters.
19. Update HRIS in accordance with leavers.
20. Monitor casual workers with no work for 12 months and end employments where needed.
21. Write and send variations to contracts.
22. Attend probation reviews, disciplinaries, grievances, or investigations as a note taker.
23. Ensure notes are typed up and distributed within 48 hours of meetings.
The Successful Applicant
24. 1+ year of experience as an HR administrator or 2 years of general administration.
25. Excellent multitasking skills.
26. Confidence in working in a fast-paced environment.
27. Ability to convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
28. Current and up-to-date HR knowledge.
29. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
30. Experience with HRIS/Sage.
31. Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
32. Ability to work effectively within a small HR team.
