What we are looking for
With a high performing global team, and given our double-digit growth, we would like to further invest in growing our global customer base by adding a dynamic and driven business development manager to the team. This role will assist in identifying the evolving needs of our clients, building new relationships, and providing even more effective solutions. The successful candidate will bring previous experience of business development within health economics and outcomes research or market access. Applicants should be willing to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues within a global team to grow business with current clients, and to focus on proactively opening up new opportunities with new clients. A willingness to travel, good prospect management, and ideally CRM experience are required. The ideal candidate will have an existing pharmaceutical and biotechnology network in the UK, Europe, and US, and a strong understanding of the current pharmaceutical environment from a payer, market access, and value demonstration perspective. You will be experienced in pharmaceutical conference attendance and using these opportunities to deliver new business opportunities.
How you fit in
Based in the UK with a global remit, you will report into the Senior Director for Commercial Sales and Marketing. You will be expected to develop strong relationships internally with our expert practice teams and externally with clients to ensure opportunities in Adelphi Values PROVE™ (Health Economics and Data Analysis; Payer and Reimbursement; and Value Insight & Communication) are well positioned, developed, and won. Key responsibilities include the development and execution of a comprehensive sales plan (in collaboration with the senior management team), planning and coordinating sales activities within the team, actively identifying potential new sales opportunities and creating these opportunities with clients through face to face visits and discussions.
