Mig Welder - Fabrication
Job Description:
We are a reputable Automotive business currently seeking an experienced and skilled Mig Welder to join our team. As a Mig Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, ensuring the highest quality welding of automotive components and structures. This role requires expertise in Mig welding techniques and a strong understanding of automotive fabrication.
Responsibilities:
* Perform Mig welding on automotive components and structures, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing welds.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
* Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery, such as Mig welders, and related tools.
* Conduct inspections and quality checks on welded parts to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues or defects promptly and effectively.
* Collaborate with the fabrication team to plan and execute welding projects in a timely and efficient manner.
* Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of welding equipment and materials.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Mig welding techniques and equipment.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Mig Welder in an automotive fabrication or related industry.
* Proficiency in Mig welding techniques, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Experience with welding equipment and tools, such as Mig welders, gas tanks, grinders, and clamps.
* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring precise and accurate welds.
* Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address welding issues effectively.
* Solid understanding of safety measures and procedures in welding operations.
* Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Hours:
Mon-Fri Morning Shift
6am - 2.pm - or 2pm- 10pm with an early finish of 11am on a Friday
