SEND Teacher – Gravesend
Are you a Fully Qualified SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding new challenge in Gravesend? Or perhaps you're an Early Careers Teacher eager to gain valuable experience in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Whatever your experience level, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach and support students with SEND at schools in the Gravesend area.
Simply Education is working closely with schools in Gravesend to recruit fully qualified SEND teachers. Successful candidates will ideally be available to work 5 days a week, delivering tailored lessons and providing support to students with a range of additional needs. There is no requirement for planning or marking, allowing you to focus entirely on the students’ learning and development.
The schools are seeking teachers who bring passion and patience to their teaching, with strong classroom management skills tailored to the SEND environment. Candidates should have experience with the SEND curriculum and be able to quickly adapt to various learning needs and settings.
We are looking for someone who:
Has recent experience teaching SEND students.
Possesses excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Has a solid understanding of SEND strategies and practices.
Can promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
