I am reaching out to you as I have an exciting role come across my desk for a Project Manager based within Newport working for a local authority. This role will consist of leading and delivering a customer focused service of all the major improvement, planned maintenance, adaptations, cyclical maintenance including compliance and neighbourhood spaces programmes.
You will be reporting into the Investment Delivery Manager.
Role Details:
Salary: £45,000
Location: Newport
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
1. Manage, develop and lead the delivery of identified contracts and projects from inception to completion in line with corporate and business objectives and within budgets and agreed outputs.
2. Effectively engage and work with key stakeholders to deliver high quality, value for money outcomes ensuring that time, cost and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
3. Ensure the service delivers excellent surveying, management and procurement of contracts and projects.

Qualifications needed for the Project Manager:
1. Knowledge of the construction industry with understanding of technical documentation.
2. Industry based qualification - degree or similar, HNC, HND, and Health and Safety Qualification NEBOSH, IOSH, CSCS, STMS or similar.
3. Experience with JCT, CDM 2015, H&S, quality and cost control.
