Job Description:
At Dawsongroup Plc, we are seeking a highly skilled HGV Field Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our municipal vehicle fleet.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, with experience in maintaining and repairing complex HGVs. You will also possess strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair municipal vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
* Carry out routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
* Respond to breakdowns and repairs in a timely and efficient manner
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus overtime and door-to-door pay, reflects the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent. You will also receive comprehensive training and support to help you excel in your role.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, as well as a valid HGV license. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with colleagues and customers.
