About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our award-winning Food and Beverage Team, as we are currently recruiting an Assistant Bar Manager. With stunning views across West Sands Beach, our Road Hole Bar hosts 300 whiskies from distilleries across Scotland and an excellent selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines. Supporting our Bar Manager, this role is responsible for providing an exceptional dining and beverage experience to our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining standards and operating procedures
Ensuring all service and bar processes are followed, taking every effort to control costs
Support and coach direct reports effectively, ensuring the highest standard of customer service is provided to all guests
Resolving any guest complaints satisfactory, ensuring all expectations are met and retaining customer loyalty
Forecasting for staffing requirements, ensuring staff volumes are adequate
Maintaining high standards of performance via appraisals and personal development plans, in line with our business values and objectives
Drive the success of our Food and Beverage Team through identifying continuous improvement areas
About You
You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who prides themselves on delivering exceptional customer service. Having a track record of supporting and motivating a team is essential along with having a great front of house presence.
Ideally, you will have relevant working experience within a four or five star property and be a Personal License Holder, or be willing to gain this within your first three months of employment. Strong knowledge of Whiskies is preferred for this position.
Salary
This a permanent position working 40 hours per week, over a flexible shift pattern and will include an element of weekend working. A competitive salary of £32, is offered along with TRONC and a vast range of associate benefits
