Job summary
As part of the Provide's multi-disciplinary children and family services, we provide a comprehensive paediatric physiotherapy service for children from birth to 19 years of age who present with developmental concerns.
We work with children and their families in their homes, nurseries and schools across Mid-Essex, as well as within our dedicated children's centre.

Main duties of the job
To assess children with a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions, identify main therapeutic goals, plan and deliver therapeutic intervention.
To liaise with the multi-disciplinary team within provide and in external settings such as schools, which support the child and family.
To identify safeguarding concerns and contribute to safeguarding procedures when relevant.

- undertake assessment and implementation of treatment plans using specialist knowledge and experience.
- able to analyse and interpret clinical findings using clinical reasoning and problem finding skills
- use of outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and modify it accordingly
- setting measurable and achievable functional goals, wherever possible involving the child, their family and the wider multi-disciplinary team
- use of highly developed therapeutic handling skills to deliver physiotherapy treatment to a wide range of patients.
