JOB PURPOSE Reporting to the Supply chain Manager, Designer Parfums (DP) is looking for a Production Planner to fully own the production planning and material planning for a particular brand end to end making sure that items are produced and in stock for when the customer requires them. Responsible for the SKU creation process including the creation of BOM’s for your Brand. Own and manage the relationship with key suppliers and fillers. A strong team worker is required to collaborate with marketing, new product development, demand planning, logistics, procurement, QC, Master data, customer service, accounts, and the China supply team is essential for the achievement of business objectives. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Schedule & maintain Productions with the manufacturer according to Demand and create Production Creating new SKU, BOM, and launching production with manufacturer according to projected launch quantities Manage Production Planning for other allocated brands Ensure Contract Fillers adhere to agreed production plans Ensure on-time deliveries for components & finished products Create and maintain Purchase Orders and Production Orders in SAP Process and approve invoices Recommend and lead Inventory management projects Report any potential OOS risks Perform regular stock checks with Contract Fillers Own and manage stock availability Reporting and supporting the Brand team in terms of stock availability, intake, and Sales FCT Root cause stock discrepancies and carry out stock adjustments Building relationships across various departments &internationally Liaise with Suppliers, Contract Manufacturers, and Internal Departments Ensure Technical & Quality specifications are adhered to. 1. Deliver on Operational KPIs – OTIF, DOH, Production adherence, Customer Service, Savings, and Quality. 2. Drive continuous improvement of global Operational capabilities – participate in the development of fit-for-purpose processes and tools to enable operational goals to be achieved. 3. Support the development of fit-for-purpose IT infrastructure (SAP) to enable the Supply chain team to increase reliability and efficiency. CANDIDIATE PROFILE Qualifications & Experience Degree beneficial but not essential Advance Excel skills Experience in Supply Chain in a related industry – FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Paint, Food Experience in SAP Business is desirable Ability to learn quickly Proactive approach to problem-solving Systems driven with good analytical skills Excellent time and self-management Keen to learn and motivated Ability to work under pressure Is a team player and works cooperatively with others.
