We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of French for a long-term role in Featherstone, Pontefract (WF7). This full-time position is available from September 2024 until December 2024, with the potential for extension.
Key Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
2. Right to work in the UK.
3. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
4. Proven experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4.
Skills and Attributes:
5. Exceptional subject knowledge.
6. Excellent organisational skills.
7. Effective time management.
8. Strong teamwork and initiative.
9. Experience in planning and preparing lessons.
10. Proficiency in assessing pupil progress using both formative and summative assessments.
11. Ability to engage well with students and create fun, engaging lessons.
12. Effective communication skills.
13. Commitment to attending parents' evenings and staff meetings.
