To assist, under supervision, in providing a professional service to clients on all aspects of the buying and selling process in line with Eatons policies and procedures.
2. Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting fee earners in the smooth running of cases by drafting relevant documents throughout the process.
2. Carrying out searches and reporting to the fee earner.
3. Communicating with estate agents, other solicitors and third parties.
4. Compliance with office policies and procedures and the use of standard systems and templates.
5. Compliance with all lender policies and requirements with regards mortgages.
6. Accurate preparation of completions statements and invoices in accordance with accounting procedures.
7. Assisting in keeping the client updated throughout the process.
3. Personal Specification
1. Qualifications: Not essential but ideally working towards CILEX or CLC.
2. Skills: Good all round IT skills – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc. Working knowledge of case management systems, diaries and tasks.
3. Experience: Conveyancing 1+ years preferred.
4. Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed. Self-confident, reliable and conscientious with good attention to detail. Smart and professional dress and demeanour.
