Job Description
The Accounts Assistant will;
3. Ensure sales are transacted correctly and completely in our accounting software.
4. Receive and process collections products as self-bill accounts payable invoices.
5. Check sales orders for deliveries reconcile with sales invoices raised.
6. Raise missing sales invoices and credit failed deliveries.
7. Ensure delivery notes for sales are attached to the sales invoice in the accounting software.
8. Ensure waste transfer notes for purchases are attached to self-bill invoices in the accounting software.
9. Record payment transactions from the point of sale and allocate against the correct invoice(s).
10. The above may require a contra between sales and purchase transactions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. A solid understanding of accounting principles
12. Proficiency in using financial software and Excel
13. Excellent analytical and numerical skills
14. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
15. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
16. Ability to work well within a team and independently
