Key Responsibilities of an Examinations Officer
• Entry Process for all external exams
• Exam Timetable Y7 - Y11 for internal and external exams
• Communication and dissemination of information regarding examinations data and policies
• Communication with Examination Bodies
• Management of exams - internal and external
• Oversee the production and distribution of an annual calendar for all exams in which pupils will be involved and communicate regularly with staff concerning imminent deadlines and events.
• Ensure that students and their parents/carers are informed of, and understand those aspects of the exam timetable that will affect them
• Provide and confirm detailed data on estimated entries
• Receive, check and store securely all exam papers and completed scripts and continuous assessments
• Download, import, extract and distribute exam results and prepare and sort all certificates for Presentation Evening.
• Co-ordinate the team of invigilators, including recruitment, training, management and deployment of invigilation staff
