Source Recruit is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join an NHS organisation in Brighton. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth management of patient records, correspondence, and queries. This position requires prior experience as a medical secretary and, ideally, knowledge of systems such as G2 Speech, Careflow, and Microsoft Office tools.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will transcribe medical letters using the G2 dictation system, finalise and send completed letters, and handle patient referrals. Key responsibilities include managing patient queries, processing incoming post (including results and GP inquiries), managing email correspondence, and answering telephone calls. Additionally, you will be responsible for requesting and returning patient notes to the central library.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical secretary.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Preferable experience with G2 Speech, Careflow, Outlook, M365, and Teams.
Role Details:
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 with a 30-minute break.
