Role and Responsibilities The Account Manager will play a crucial role in client success, overseeing all aspects of account management to ensure the highest quality of service delivery. Key responsibilities include: Client Relationship Management : Maintain strong, positive client relationships through regular communications—via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings. Strategic Collaboration : Partner with the Technical SEO Team to outline effective strategies and schedules that align with each client's needs and objectives. Service Quality Oversight : Ensure service delivery meets client expectations for both efficiency and satisfaction. Client Development : Work with client development plans and internal processes to foster lasting client relationships. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain thorough records of all client interactions and report regularly to the Managing Director on account status. Monthly Reporting : Ensure timely delivery of monthly marketing reports, including an account summary covering key activities and alignment with client goals. Revenue Growth : Identify and present new business opportunities within the client portfolio to support agency growth. Performance Tracking : Analyze and monitor rankings, conversions, and traffic through various tools, ensuring clients’ metrics align with goals. Budget Management : Oversee client budgets, balancing the financial and strategic elements of each account. Person Specification Successful candidates will bring a blend of technical know-how, communication skills, and personal qualities that contribute to effective account management. Educational Attainment: University degree or equivalent preferred. Technical Knowledge: Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Ability to quickly adapt to new software and digital processes. Some digital marketing knowledge is desirable, with a strong interest being essential. SEO knowledge is an asset, though not a strict requirement. Minimum 2 years’ experience in SEO account management, ideally from an agency background. Experience in a fast-paced environment, handling competing client demands with attention to detail. Skills Required: Strong understanding of SEO practices. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with project management and resource management tools.
