The Role.
We’re looking for an ambitious and driven leader to take charge of Alamy’s Distribution team, overseeing targets and fostering a high-performing environment. You’ll lead by example, actively identifying and seizing new distribution opportunities while mentoring and coaching your team to exceed their objectives and deliver outstanding results.
In this role, you’ll manage existing distribution partnerships, continuously seeking growth and expansion opportunities. You’ll navigate a dynamic landscape, balancing commercial priorities to achieve targets while maintaining adaptability and a proactive approach.
Your responsibilities will include driving the team to exceed annual distribution targets, establishing and nurturing long-term, profitable partnerships, and initiating and leading discussions to evaluate and secure new opportunities.
You’ll prepare and present compelling business cases to the Global Commercial Director for support and alignment with Alamy’s strategic goals.
You’ll gather comprehensive insights to understand prospective partners and develop tailored, innovative strategies to secure new business or expand existing relationships.
About you.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of defining and executing a commercial strategy that achieves ambitious revenue targets.
You will also need:
A commercial mindset, with the ability to present solutions demonstrating clear ROI.
Proven experience in sourcing opportunities and tailoring approaches to achieve revenue targets.
Strong networking skills, establishing trust and engaging senior stakeholders professionally.
Adaptable presentation skills for a diverse customer base.
Expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
A commitment to staying current with industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
Experience with customer management systems, including Salesforce.
Knowledge of copyright and legal considerations in photography (beneficial but not essential).
