Senior Fire Engineer Job in Leeds, Yorkshire

As a key part of the Fire Engineering team, you will be working through all stages of complex fire engineering projects and reporting to an Associate level fire engineer. The role offers a salary of £50,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + 27 Days Holiday + BH + hybrid working + healthcare + continuous CPD / professional development.

Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead on complex fire engineering projects
2. Review of technical packages during RIBA Stages 4 and 5
3. Support and mentor Grad to Fire Engineer level within your team
4. Lead workshops/meetings to discuss design solutions
5. Implementing fire strategies during construction phase and retrospective fire strategies
6. Produce technical engineering reports and review technical packages of contractors
7. Project manage from start to end including financials, quality management planning and customer care
8. Client facing through the lifecycle of projects
9. Contribute to work winning.
Required Skills & Experience
10. Engineering Council Accredited BEng Hons, MEng or MSc
11. CEng, MRICS, MCABE or working towards
12. Minimum associate member of IFE
13. Extensive experience in delivering fire-engineered solutions for UK based projects
14. Strong understanding of UK legislation/regulations and design guidance (will also consider applicants from New Zealand or Australia with similar regulations)
15. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, working to tight deadlines
16. UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
