I am working with an existing client of mine who are providers of services to the NHS and are actively looking for their next Account and Operations Director. The role requires a resourceful leader capable of navigating diverse challenges, leveraging internal and external expertise, and aligning operations with my clients strategic objectives and requirements Role details • Lead the planning and execution of healthcare services to meet or exceed delivery timelines and patient safety standards. • Enhance and implement operational processes to align with client-specific requirements. • Actively monitor service performance and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality. • Ensure all accounts are actively nurtured and developed in collaboration with the Business Development Team, fostering strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and consistently delivering value to existing clients. • Manage budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery and maintain healthy margins for all contracts. • Provide leadership and direction to operational teams (recruitment, compliance and service delivery), fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. • Identify and address training and development needs to enhance team performance. Key Requirements • Experience: Proven track record in operations management, ideally within healthcare or clinical services • Risk Management: Strong understanding of clinical, financial, and commercial risk principles, with a history of successful mitigation. • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, inspire performance, and manage complex service delivery frameworks. • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills and a proactive approach to navigating unfamiliar challenges. • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders effectively. • Results-Driven: A history of delivering outcomes that align with organisational goals and client expectations I am looking to speak to multiple levels of senior leaders across the healthcare space who are not afraid to "Roll their sleeves up" and make a difference.
