Receptionist required for luxury hotel in Newquay
If you have previous reception experience and would like to progress your career to the next level this could be the role for you.
Our client who is a luxury hotel in NEwquay is looking to add to their team a receptionist who is available to start immediately.
As receptionist, your duties will include
1. To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual – Reservations, Sales, Check In and Check Out Procedures
2. To provide an unforgettable experience, starting with reception, not just on arrival but through their whole stay until departure.
3. To achieve sales in line with company objectives
4. To promote additional products and services within the hotel and group brand
5. To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
6. To maintain high standards of hospitality, processing bookings, up selling, salesmanship, financial and reporting diligence.
7. To support the reservations team with booking support.
8. To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally as in accordance with hotel policy
9. To ensure a good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel
10. Stock replenishment of department areas
11. Ensure daily updates are communicated throughout the hotel
12. Follow legislation relating to job role.

14. To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
15. All other duties as required
