Job Description
The Revenues Team plays a critical role within the Council and are responsible for the annual collection of £45m to fund public services and the distribution of £13m in Welfare Benefit payments to the residents of Clackmannanshire.
The Revenues Team is split into two functions:
1. Welfare & Benefits – Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction and Scottish Welfare Fund, and
2. Council Tax, Rates & Collection – Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Sundry Debts & Payments.
As a member of the Revenues Team, the Revenues Officer will work with the relevant Senior Revenues Officer, Revenues Supervisor and Revenues Manager to support the operational delivery of an efficient and effective Revenues Service. As such you may be asked to work within any function of the Revenues Team.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and / or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38, per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
