We are seeking a new member for our talented and dedicated team to play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our makerspace facilities.
As an enthusiastic makerspace technician, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and activities.
This includes developing innovative and modern solutions to training, support of students and coordinating research needs and equipment usage.

Working with a range of equipment, techniques and individuals, you will have a keen and independent approach to your continuous personal development.
You will be highly organised, diplomatic, an excellent communicator and passionate about fostering the maker mindset in both students and researchers alike.
We will also be looking for you to have:
- A relevant degree, and ideally practical experience and/or qualifications in hardware related technical support in Computer Science, Electronics or Robotics
- Experience in prototyping electronic and mechanical devices including sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, electrical test equipment, 3D printing and CAD
