As a Neighbourhood Housing Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission, managing a team and overseeing a portfolio of properties and ensuring our customers receive the first class support that they deserve. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and maintaining high-quality housing services.
2. Building strong relationships with customers and partner agencies, understanding their needs, and addressing their concerns.
3. Leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer service.
4. Implementing community engagement initiatives to enhance customer involvement.
5. Ensuring compliance with housing regulations and health and safety standards.
You must have:
6. Proven experience in housing management or a similar role.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
9. A passion for community development and customer well-being.
10. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
11. Knowledge of housing laws and regulations.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required.
