About Our Client
A new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager to join a leading business based in Crawley.
Job Description
3. To supervise the Payroll Administrators to ensure their work is up to date, and support with training where required.
4. To support the Payroll Manager in the delivery of an accurate payroll by importing and reconciling uplifts to salaries and various benefits the company offers.
5. Liaising with our pension team to balance the pension contributions each payroll period
6. Checking calculations and input of other team members
7. To support the Payroll Manager with the submission of HMRC RTI reporting
8. To support the Payroll Manager with payment of Taxes at the end of each payroll period and the payment of Class 1A NIC's in respect of Benefits in Kind.
9. To produce and reconcile reports at the end of each payroll period for stakeholders.
10. To complete P11D reporting and childcare voucher assessments annually
11. Creating and sending BACS files
12. Importing new starters to the payroll
13. Importing salary and cash allowances, and reconciling values with Human Resources reports
14. Importing timesheet values to the payroll and reconciling values with Human Resources reports
15. Reconciling PAYE and completing payment paperwork
16. Supporting team members with day-to day queries
The Successful Applicant
17. Experience of supervising and developing team members through training and mentoring to enhance their skills and facilitate their professional growth
18. Good organisation skills, ability to work to tight deadlines
19. Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Excel
