The Role:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will encourage and guide students through the complexities of design, engineering, and technology. This role requires a creative and enthusiastic professional who can engage students with practical and theoretical knowledge, preparing them for the challenges of modern industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Design and Technology to students across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
* Develop engaging and innovative lessons that incorporate both traditional woodworking, metalworking skills, and modern technologies such as CAD and 3D printing.
* Monitor and evaluate students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs and interests.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and current design trends and technologies.
* Foster a safe, creative, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student-led projects.
* Organize and manage the resources required for class activities.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate design principles into other curricular areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
