What you’ll be doing:
Key responsibilities
1. Receive, record and investigation IT incidents
2. Manage Service Requests such as New Starter requests, replacement hardware etc.
3. Provision of 1st, 2nd and in some cases 3rd line support
4. Perform daily checks to ensure IT Services are running smoothly
5. Manage and maintain On premise and Cloud infrastructure including:Virtual hosts and machinesSAN/NASBackupsUPSActive DirectoryDHCPDNSSaaS platforms
6. Manage and maintain all network systems including:SwitchesSecurity appliancesTelephony system
7. Provide end user training on new and existing systems
8. Liaising with 3rd Party Support vendors for quotations and support issues
What you’ll be able to demonstrate:
Skills and experience
9. Strong time-management, organisational and communicative skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is required.
10. Experience of troubleshooting IT hardware and Software
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Awareness of and proficiency with Active Directory, WSUS, O365, Microsoft Server and desktop technologies
13. Experience with SAN solutions
14. Experience of backup technologies such as VEAM
15. Previous experience in corporate Network Infrastructure, including Cisco/Meraki technologies.
16. Hands on experience with an ERP system would be an advantage along with an understand of SQL
17. Awareness of Warehouse operations
