Job Description
Be apart of a leading co-educational school in Oxford as an experienced IT Engineer, maintaining the sixth forms IT infrastructure and services. You will be working closely with the head of IT and providing high quality service to students/staff. You will be responsible for implementing new IT systems and improving the schools IT facility.
IT Support Duties:
1. Managing daily IT workflow
2. Maintaining and cleansing school data
3. Monitoring the IT service desk answering any requests in a timely manner
4. Helping the 3rd line team with incidents
5. Network engineering management
6. Supporting students and members of staff
7. Hardware Management (phones, computers ,laptops ,printers)
8. IT Event management for various school events
9. Budget allocations
10. Assist the IT helpdesk
11. Heath & Safety, Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies
12. Contribute to the success of external inspections (OFSTED,UKVI)
13. Staff training & Development
Systems Administration:
14. Administration of the Schools Management Information System (iSAMS)
15. Administration of users (Active Directory / Azure Active Directory)
16. Administration of mailboxes (Microsoft 365)
17. Administration of devices
18. Administration of other school software
19. Administration and monitoring of the school network, Firewall, WiFi
Qualifications:
20. BSc or Diploma in IT or equivalent
21. CISCO certifications
22. CompTIA certifications
Experience:
23. 2 years experience in a similar position/environment
24. 2 years experience in troubleshooting
25. 2 years experience in network infrastructure
26. 2 years experience on configuration of Firewall and network filtering changes
