Credit Controller

Monday – Friday 9am-5.30pm
Temporary for circa 6-months
KHR has partnered with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Kent who, due to business demand, require a highly efficient and organised Credit Controller for an immediate start on a temporary 6-month basis.
This role is crucial in managing client accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Manage client queries
2. Chase clients from debtors lists to request payment
3. Do standard chase letters up to “Letter before action” for non-paying clients
4. Work with the client-facing team to ensure we collect the debt
5. Manage the Direct Debit system and chase any cancelled/failed Direct Debit collections
6. Review bad debt provision for errors and notify the team
7. Chase internal team to resolve longstanding fee queries
8. Manage automated chasing system
Candidate Profile
1. Previous experience in a similar credit control role
2. Strong communication skills
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
4. A strong team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
5. Computer literate
