Business Administrator Apprentice – Level 3

The role:
Possible start date: 01.07.2024
Monday to Friday; 9am to 5pm
Total working hours: 37.5
What you will do in your working day:
Supporting a small team with administration and customer service, this is a varied role learning all about using company systems, delivering exceptional customer service and a variety of business processes.
You will learn:
8. Entering sales orders onto the software system.
9. Entering purchase orders onto the software system.
10. Carrying out all checks to orders prior to sending purchase orders off to suppliers.
11. Sending purchase orders to suppliers.
12. Sending order acknowledgements to clients.
13. Monitoring orders with suppliers and chasing up key dates on all orders with suppliers.
14. Managing daily dispatch board, making customers aware of any discrepancies in actual dispatch dates vs dates promised to clients each day.
15. Supporting with answering incoming queries related to customer service via email and phone.
16. Assisting with capturing data and running reporting.
17. Reception support.
18. Consistently provide excellent customer service, becoming the customers trusted advisor. This would include responding to customer requests via email or phone promptly and if not able to do so right away, respond by informing the customer you are going to get back to them – keeping them informed.
19. Sales order processing.
20. Assist Customer Service Manager with supplier performance to ensure delivery dates and client expectations are met, order management system.
21. Promptly responding to emails.
22. Support colleagues as necessary to ensure customer experience is of an even and high standard at all times (including cover for absences).
23. Aid and support the Manager with customer requests for schedule/dates and queries where necessary.
24. Closely liaise with the production and dispatch departments; primary contact is the Production Manager. This may on occasion extend to practical assistance in the completion of orders.
The training you will receive:
25. Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
26. All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes.
