Job Summary
Coker Engineering Ltd, a precision engineering company in South West England, is seeking a highly skilled Late Shift Machinist to join their team. As a key member of their production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, monitoring the production process, conducting quality checks, and ensuring productive output of manufactured parts.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC machinery, basic metrology equipment, and technical drawings. You will be expected to be multi-skilled and able to move between sections within the factory as required. Familiarity with precision engineering or manufacturing industry is essential. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also required.
Requirements
* Machine operation, monitoring, and work in progress inspection skills
* Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing industry
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Previous experience with CNC machining, with knowledge of NC language is a plus
* GCSE Maths B or above (or equivalent)
