About the role:
We are delighted to share that we have multiple excellent opportunities for Equipment Owner Operators to join us within our Shieldhall site.
Shieldhall packages a huge volume of Scotch malt whiskies, white spirits, and ready-to-drink brands to supply over 170 countries around the world and is a key manufacturing site within the Scotch supply category.
As an Operator within our Packaging Team at Shieldhall, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that operations are carried out to the highest standard and in adherence to Diageo's health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, at all times.
You will be accountable for delivering effective shift handovers and operating bottling line machines while following defined standard operating procedures for machine operation. Set up time reduction and perform autonomous maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspecting, lubricating and responding to issues.
This role involves working closely with Team Leaders to drive performance and improvement initiatives on your line.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets such as production quality and HMRC compliance.

* Holds strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to communicate with all levels across the site.
* Has ambition and aims to support Team Leaders and possibly aspire to become a Team Leader of the future.
* Able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities.

Shifts:
As a Weekend Operator, you will enjoy 4 days off and then work Friday 11:30 - 18:00 and Saturday & Sunday 07:00 - 19:00.
