Strode Park Foundation (SPF) is offering a rewarding opportunity to join Strode Park House in Herne, Kent as a full time, permanent Registered Manager on £53,000 per annum.

As the Registered Manager of Strode Park House (SPH) you will lead and manage the home, so it provides the best possible day to day lived experience for residents. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, high-quality nursing and support services and that the home operates smoothly in terms of care quality, contractual, financial obligations and maintains a positive reputation.
Job Opportunity
Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent.

Strode Park House is a residential home with nursing care for 55 adults with physical disabilities and complex needs. We've been delivering care since 1946, and this home is where it all started.

Purpose of the role:
* To ensure the people in your care are as safe and well cared for as possible, and their rights and choices are promoted and prioritised.
* To operate within financial parameters that are set annually within the SPF budget process.
* To lead and manage all aspects of the staff team, so staff are clear on their responsibilities and are motivated to carry out their roles safely and effectively.
* To manage SPH so it operates safely and smoothly in terms of care quality, contractual and financial obligations, and also maintains a positive reputation.
* To pro-actively manage service development projects, occupancy increases and generate service development.

Essential Skills
Our ideal Registered Manager will:
* Hold NVQ Level 5 or equivalent or higher, or willing to work towards such a qualification.
* Be a Registered Nurse with NMC, Nursing Associate or other registered professional with HPC.
* Have a good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to care services.
* Be caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support.
* Have experience of medication management.
* Have an understanding of MCA, DoLS and safeguarding processes.
It would be an advantage if you have:
* Experience of managing the delivery of care services as a Registered Manager.
* A full clean driving licence.
* Direct or indirect experience of working or supporting individuals with disabilities.
