To supervise a team of housekeeping staff.
Main duties of the job
To supervise, co-ordinate, motivate, train and work with your team to provide a quality service.
To inspect, record and monitor, and if required, take action to ensure that high standards are maintained, (complying with Health and Safety and Food Handling and Hygiene Regulations) and feedback to your Line Manager.
To ensure that a clean and hygienic environment is maintained at all times for Trust staff, patients and members of the public in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
To work as part of a team and communicate with all staff and team members in a polite, courteous and positive manner.
To develop clear lines of communication and relationships at all levels within your team and with other colleagues, nursing staff and patients and encourage and maintain good working relationships with all users of Housekeeping services
