YOU
You, as our Finance Business Partner SC Operations & Transformation and you will provide financial and analytical business partnering, managing approximately £40m in operational costs and driving efficiencies across £3m of Supply Chain waste. You will be a key business partner for our Fuel for Growth programme, managing £5m in cost opportunities and collaborating with the wider supply chain organisation. Further duties include updating and inputting month-end close activities, leading operational input into cycle forecasts, Waste/KPI reporting, internal control policy management, and driving transformation activities across Supply Chain finance.
YOUR ROLE
Business Partnering and Reporting
1. Provide Finance business partnering support to all teams within Supply Chain, Quality & Engineering (N-1 of Site Leadership team) and deputise for the Senior Finance Manager when required
2. Lead the preparation of opex (£40m) forecast updates ensuring all deviations are clearly understood and communicated.
3. Supply Chain annual budget preparation with the Senior Finance Manager – leading engagement of supply chain managers in process and building appropriate templates to assist managers in creating and tracking their budgets
4. Lead BP for Operation labour, working with Head of Production to ensure accurate tracking of labour usage and spend
5. Business partner the Coleford site capability and continuous improvement teams
6. Support and identify process improvements to deliver against other Internal Control and JSOX requirements
7. Support the SC Finance Director and SBFE central SC finance team in delivering the SBFE BPO projects and transformation
8. Identify new opportunities to deliver efficiency and cost saving initiatives for the business and business partner the Fuel for Growth transformation lead helping drive £5-6m of savings annually.
Projects and process improvements
9. Critically review all SC Finance monthly processes with an ambition to automate and harmonise processes wherever possible.
10. Support the SC Finance Director and SBFE central SC finance team in delivering the SBFE BPO projects and transformation
11. Business partner the Coleford site capability and continuous improvement teams and support the FBP in project delivery
12. Support and identify process improvements to deliver against Internal Control and JSOX requirement
13. Support key fuel for growth projects and provide financial support to project teams to ensure delivery
WHAT YOU BRING
14. Financial acumen – Part/Fully qualified accountant
15. Ability to work within cross-functional teams & projects
16. Experience in FMCG supply chain business partnering an advantage
