Indeed, the Commercial Director will play a critical part in delivering strategic account growth, unlocking significant opportunities and further developing its brand. Nurturing and growing key UK partnerships in retail, the Commercial Director will excel at bringing new products to market, both digitally and through traditional routes. The appointee will compliment and leverage the business’ deep expertise in sourcing and developing products to expand its reach and deepen its penetration. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Commercial Director will lead the Key Account and Marketing teams and be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategies. Working closely with the Board and Senior Leadership Team, they will support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Company. Key Skills: Experience in a Commercial Director / Account Director / Sales & Marketing Director or similar commercial leadership role within a relevant sector (e.g. homewares/furnishings). However, open to strong commercial background including Supply Chain, Buying & Sourcing Developing and implementing strategies to achieve strategic account growth revenue targets Experience of designing and executing key account development plans to maximise opportunities, growth, expansion and retention People leadership - proven people leader with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Strong commercial and financial management capability, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, resource optimisation, and KPI performance measurement Personal attributes · Straight talking, open and honest. · Pacy, won’t put off to tomorrow something that can be done today. · Warm and fun with a strong sense of values and integrity.
