Senior Auditor, Infrastructure and Cyber Security

If you have excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, this could be your ideal role in our industry-leading Audit function.
In this key role, you’ll be contributing to independent audit engagement assurance by undertaking allocated tasks within the engagement lifecycle.
This is a fast-paced and varied role which will enable you to build your network at the bank, by collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and senior employees.
What you’ll do:
1. Provide quality, efficient and effective assurance and influence business managers to improve control as part of a digital and data-driven organisation.
2. Assess infrastructure and cyber security risks and controls and carry out testing, as well as contribute to assurance planning and undertake effective process mapping.
3. Analyse MI and review risk information to identify key business risks and contribute to continuous monitoring.
4. Produce effective audit engagement reports and opinions which influence our business managers to ensure they lead in a risk-conscious way.
5. Engage with stakeholders throughout engagements, ensuring they understand business risks by having open and effective conversations on key risks.
6. Coach auditors and support them to realise their potential on the engagement.
The skills you’ll need:
1. Audit or risk management experience, together with a strong understanding of the principles of good risk management.
2. In-depth understanding of Infrastructure and Cyber Security risks, concepts, and technologies, including:
1. Experience in auditing server infrastructure platforms at OS, Database, or Middleware level.
2. Auditing Public Cloud IaaS/PaaS services running in MZ Azure, AWS, or GCP.
3. Familiarity with the latest cyber security and engineering concepts, including: defence in depth, cryptography, privileged access management, DevOps, Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
4. Networking (Device Configuration Management) and Security.
3. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess and prioritise data effectively, quickly establishing what’s important.
4. A thorough grounding in monitoring and testing effective controls.
5. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
6. Great communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts in a clear and concise way.
