JOB OVERVIEW
Manufactures solid oral dose products and is fully competent on all relevant operation, start-up, cleaning and checking procedures associated with the operation of a Pharmaceutical plant, ensuring a high-quality output is achieved in a safe and effective manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manufacturing a wide variety of Pharmaceutical products according to approved procedures and SOPs.
2. Dispensing of active and non-active ingredients in accordance with the approved manufacturing procedures.
3. Granulating products utilizing techniques such as wet granulation, dry granulation, and roller compaction.
4. Compression of formulated products utilizing high speed rotary compression machines.
5. Carrying out equipment checks and minor maintenance work to minimize downtime e.g., checking oil levels, wear on parts, changing filters etc.
6. Clean equipment and areas following established procedures.
7. Investigate and report problems on equipment or processes utilizing established problem-solving techniques such as 5 Why’s.
8. Completes all associated paperwork, logbooks and computer data entry in accordance with data integrity principles and cGMP.
9. Utilize improvement techniques to support a continuous improvement culture in order to drive performance improvement.
10. Supports SFT & CANDO deployment.
11. Supports learning and development by providing buddy training and assessment where applicable.
