We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to cover various client facilities across the Yorkshire area (occasional travel to Greater Manchester). The role will be to provide PPM and reactive maintenance to industrial and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration plant. The position is permanent, paying circa £46k plus vehicle, overtime available. Standby rate is £15 per day and £50 on bank holidays. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Refrigeration Engineer Duties:
1. Proactively deliver the engineering tasks received, including maintenance and service visits to warehouses on a variety of equipment, including Recip, Scroll, Screw compressor packs (Ammonia, CO2 & HFC/HFO Installations).
2. Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours, and support out-of-hours work by being part of a standby rota.
3. Ensure that engineering tasks received are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance at all times.
4. Responsible for the quality of each individual engineering task received in support of contract responsibilities, ensuring all practices are followed.
5. Conform to all industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
1. Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector, and the expectations of Industrial Refrigeration customers.
2. 2079 Refrigerant handling and ideally ACRIB, Ammonia.
3. Successfully completed a recognised training course/apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
4. A good base knowledge of maintenance & service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
5. Experience of large central plant technical diagnosis and fault-finding skills for various installations.
