Job summary
We arelooking for a good team player to provide high quality patient services. Theideal candidate should have previous experience in Phlebotomy and possibleother HCA skills such as Blood Pressure (not essential).
Clinic days can be flexible but must be in the morning ( 9am - Hours on a Saturday can also be offered on an ad-hoc basis (job share)
Main duties of the job
Undertake venepuncture for our patients who are booked in the clinics. Work with the team to perform routine tasks and provide the care our patients need.
About us
We are a small practice with 6K + patient list size. We are a SystmOne practice.
With GPs, Nurses, ANP, HCA and our extended PCN team, we work very well together and collaboratively to provide the care our patients need.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
2. Venepuncture
3. Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate
4. Clean and sterilise equipment
5. Maintaining and cleaning equipment
6. Chaperoning and assisting patients who are being examined by another clinician.
7. Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness of nurses and treatment rooms
8. Participation in administrative systems in the Practice
9. At all times there will be a need to maintain accurate records
10. Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post
