Quality TechnicianThe Opportunity:Do you have manufacturing / production experience? Do you have a good eye for detail?We have an opportunity for a Quality Technician to work in a laboratory environment, ensuring that products meet the required standards. Working within a well-established, award winning facility you will carry out a variety of testing activities and prepare quality related documentation. Full training will be provided to the Quality Technician, but the role would suit somebody with some quality control experience. Please note this is a Tuesday to Friday 10am - 8.30pm shift (40 hour week, spread over 4 days).The Role:
1. To carry out all testing activities related to products and projects ensuring deliverables meet customer requirements.
2. Validate the output of others using a variety of measuring techniques to ensure that products are within prescribed specification.
3. Communicate with management and production operators on issues of a technical/quality nature.
4. Preparation of test reports and documentation.
5. Use of documentation control systems – paper and electronic.
6. Support of calibration, maintenance and revalidation activities for equipment and facilities.
7. Compilation of release data for finished products.
