About Our Client
Our client, based in Southampton, is going through an exciting time as they are implementing a much anticipated new system. Whilst the existing team is focussing on the implementation, they need additional headcount to support with the day to day transactional finance function.
Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
3. Coding, matching and processing a high volume of invoices
4. Raising credit notes
5. Raising sales invoices
6. Bank reconciliations
7. Supplier statement reconciliations
8. At times, chasing outstanding debt via email
9. Dealing with queries
10. Other adhoc duties
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must:
11. Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
12. Be immediately available or on short notice
13. Be able to multi-task
14. Have excellent communication skills
15. Be able to work as part of a team with little guidance
