Because success is personal.What you’ll be doingAs part of the EDF Property Services commercial team, you’ll have a truly unique role in supporting the analysis of strategic business property decisions. By collating key data, facilitating multiple stakeholders, and running cost modelling to allow comparison of business change case options, you will be providing the information to support leaders in making key strategic decisions. Key responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for property business change projectsManage and further develop cost models to support cost analysisDevelop benchmarking to assist in setting accurate budgetsCollaborate and coordinate key stakeholders such as architects, project managers and the wider property teams to ensure accurate financial analysisSupport development of project stage gate packsProvide cost management support to a diverse range of projects across the UK, ranging from simple refurbishment to complex large multi-site projects Who you are Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost ManagerStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficient in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAmbitious and a positive mindsetRelevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field is desirable but not essential We’re looking for somebody who can demonstrate an analytical mindset and a strong, numerical ability. Somebody who can demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to build relationships at all levels of seniority and deliver accurate information and working under pressure.
