You'll co-ordinate work experience activity across health courses at level 1-3 The successful candidate will be student focussed, and will have the student s interest at the heart of what they do, ensuring all learners attain valuable industry experience/industry placement which enhances their achievement and progression, supports their career aspirations and meets the requirements of their course.
£13,102 per annum (Actual) £24,858 per annum (Scale 4) FTE - The position is part time.
This post would suit someone is or has worked in the health and social care sector and is looking for a change in role, or someone looking to work alongside our curriculum team supporting students to developing their employability, independent, personal skills and confidence.
You will be able to establish and develop strong relationships with health employers and community members with a clear commitment to ensuring these relationships remain long-standing. Consequently, you will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be confident with working with 16-19-year olds, helping them to locate a suitable placement that a compulsory part of all study programmes working closely with the curriculum teaching teams and other staff.
As a work placement co-ordinator, you will be organised and have the ability to prioritise, ensuring that all students are placed in an environment appropriate to their career aims and during their scheduled dates and ensuring that all administration including health and safety checks are complete.
