Working exclusively with HAYS Education, your new school is a large over-subscribed secondary school located in central Blackburn. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11-16. Your new role
Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Art to KS4. The role is tomence from September 2024 and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis for a minimum of one term. The role is then to be advertised so there is scope for a permanent position, should that be of interest. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Art to KS4. You must be able tomence the role from September 2024 and be able tomit to the full duration of the assignment.
