IPS have partnered alongside a highly regarded (Re)insurance provider in their search for an ambitious Analyst to join their team focused on Property Treaty.
The successful applicant will provide analytical support to, and engage with, key stakeholders in both London and Bermuda. You will have the opportunity to partner with R&D teams on innovation projects, event response, and other exciting project work on an ad-hoc basis. You will be joining a dynamic and highly collaborative team, and there is ample opportunity for internal secondments, upskilling and cross-training. This role also provides significant exposure to Underwriting and Actuarial teams, making this a great environment for driven and ambitious analysts, who are keen to develop a wider knowledge and understanding of exposure analytics.
To be considered for this position:
1. Experience using a recognised vendor Catastrophe model (eg; RMS, AIR)
2. Technical proficiency using coding and programming tools such as SQL, Python, R being highly advantageous.
3. Confident communicator with the ability to work well individually and as part of a wider team.
