We are recruiting for an Assistant General Manager to join our Thatcham site.The main purpose of the role to assist the General Manager in the overall development, performance and maintenance of the site operational activities to obtain the maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability. Whilst ensuring all requirements to safety and wellbeing are being fully implemented.

Assistant General Manager role details:
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week
Working pattern: Monday - Friday
Location: Thatcham, RG19 4BQ
What you’ll do
12. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving mechanisms for site activities, including surveying and measuring the operations, process, outcomes and profitability of the site and feedback to the appropriate internal entities
13. You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in leading the site and ensuring, efficient and effective day to day running of the operation to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
14. You will set clear objectives for your team to understand the key priorities and can monitor performance effectively
15. Ensuring all requirements to safety and wellbeing are being fully implemented
Who you are:
16. Leadership with ability to assist in driving site and team
17. Thorough understanding of business process and management, requirements and dynamics
18. Experience in an equivalent role
19. Ability in process and management and customer/supplier relationship management
20. Versatile, with a well-rounded operational background
21. Motivational, forward thinking and adaptable style of management – consistently investing in your team to ensure that they are given every opportunity to succeed and develop
22. Proven ability to coach and develop others
23. High degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings
24. Ability to work under pressure
25. Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
