Role Overview:
As a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training and guidance from our experienced surveyors, analysts, and project managers. Your journey begins with shadowing lead professionals and progresses through a structured training program.
Successful candidates will have the chance to obtain BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications, becoming certified asbestos surveyor analysts.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside lead surveyors/analysts during surveys and inspections
Collect factual and numerical data using tablet hand-held devices.
Learn approved methods and stay current with legislation.
Progress through our training program to become an authorised surveyor.
Represent ACE professionally in all interactions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Fulfil administrative duties, including data entry and report production.
Essential Qualifications:
Full clean UK driving licence.
Practical experience with tools and technical equipment
GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and initiative.
Team player with a strong desire to learn.
Flexibility for out-of-hours and weekend work
Desirable qualifications:
Background in construction or related field
Science degree or equivalent qualification
CSCS Card

Schedule and Compensation:
Working Hours: 40 per week (overtime available)
Full-time, Permanent Position
Salary: Initially meets National Minimum Wage, with a significant increase upon training completion (usually 6 months)
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
