TPFRecruitment are hiring for an Audit and Accounts Senior / Managerto join a clientfocused dynamic team. In this role you will assistpartners and managers in delivering efficient and professionalaudit and accounting services. You will also play a key role intraining and managing junior staff helping them to develop andreach theirpotential.
Whilethe role is predominantly auditfocused there is an opportunity toengage in nonaudit work including statutory accounts preparationtax compliance advice and other adhocservices.
KeyResponsibilities
* Planningsupervising and executing full endtoendaudits
* Meetingagreed budgets anddeadlines
* Leadingaudits supervising and delegating tasks to trainees and assistingthem with technicalqueries
* Deliveringcomplete audit files forreview
* Attendinginitial planning and audit closedown meetings withclients
* Maintainingclose liaison with clients audit teams and auditpartners
* Deliveringwork under primary accounting frameworks mainly FRS102
* Preparingand reviewing annual statutory accounts and corporation taxservices
* Motivatingand encouraging teammembers
* Ensuringcompliance with internal and external standards rules andrequirements
* Buildingstrong relationships with clients providing personal professionaland efficientservice
* Identifyingand understanding client needs offering initial solutions andcommunicating these to themanager/partner
* Achievingannual chargeable hourstargets
* Takingresponsibility for maintaining annual training requirements andproactively identifying personal trainingneeds
Requirements
* ACAor ACCAQualified
* Minimumof 2 years auditing experience including leadingaudits
* Strongtechnical knowledge of UK accounting standards (primarily FRS 102)and auditingstandards
* Proficientin using Audit and Accounts software and Microsoft Office365
* Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to interact with clientspartners and colleagueseffectively
* Strongorganisational skills including the ability to multitask prioritizework and manage timeefficiently
* Attentionto detail anddiligence
* Abilityto work effectively as part of ateam
