Job summary
An opportunity to join an established team, as a qualified Dental Nurse, providing support to and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of a high standard of patient care. This is a great opening to develop and expand your skills as a Dental Nurse.
You should be able to demonstrate a compassionate and caring approach to patients, be well organized, well presented, practice excellent Infection prevention and Control, be flexible in your approach to work, be able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative.
Clinics you will assist in are Oral surgery, Minor operations and Skin procedures under local anaesthetic. Day surgery theatre lists. Orthodontics and specialised clinics such as Orthognathic. Adult and paediatric Restorative dentistry.

Main duties of the job
Provide chairside support to the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontist clinicians and other clinical staff working in the speciality.
o Within the clinic, responsible for day to day management of the Responsible for accurate patient record Working alongside medical staff in the minor surgical procedures performed within the clinical Training and supporting new staff.

1. Hold one of the following certificates: NEBDN National certificate in Dental Nursing S/NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare: Dental Nursing or Dental Hospital Certificate of proficiency in Dental Nursing. Or have the equivalent experience and eligible for the registration with the Dental Care Professionals register.
2. Evidence of continuing professional development.

4. Proven clinical practice in dental nursing skills and infection control practices
